Thirukkoviloor Divyadesam, located near Villupuram, is renowned for its divine connection to the Thiruvikrama Avatharam (Vamana Avatharam) of Lord Vishnu. Here, the presiding deity appears in the magnificent form of Thiruvikrama, symbolizing the incarnation where the Lord measured the universe in three strides, showcasing his supreme cosmic power.
Thiruvahindrapuram Divyadesam, situated near Cuddalore, is equally revered. The presiding deity, Lord Devanayaka Perumal, is worshipped as Emperumaan Devanatha Swamy. A special feature of this temple is the presence of Lord Hayagreeva, the incarnation of wisdom and knowledge, who resides on a nearby hillock, adding to the temple’s spiritual grandeur.
